The Ben Duoc tunnel offers a less touristy and more authentic experience.   • Ben Duoc tunnel complex, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
    We will depart around 7:30 AM to pick up tourists for our trip to the Củ Chi Tunnels. The journey will take about one and a half hours, with a 20-minute restroom break at the Rest Stop. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore the remnants of wartime, such as the secret bunkers used as military shelters for Vietnamese soldiers. Watch a documentary to understand how the Vietnamese bravely fought for independence. Visitors can crawl and crouch through the tunnels to gain insight into the challenging conditions people faced in the past. Additionally, they can visit the shooting range at their own expense (bullet cost excluded). Before departing, you'll have the chance to sample tapioca and tea, which were staples of the soldiers' daily diet in the past. After the Cu Chi Tunnels visit, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City, where guests will be dropped off at their hotels to conclude the tour.

We chose this tour as it was supposed to be not as busy as the other tunnels. Despite there being school kids and tour groups it wasn’t too busy and we were never rushed through the experience. Our tour guide Ken made the day enjoyable and gave us a lot of information about the tunnels and life at the time. We crawled through four tunnels which is more than enough with the heat and humidity. Be warned it’s hot and sweaty crawling through but worth it. Wear something you can afford to get a bit dirty and embrace the experience.

Fantastic guide - excellent English and presented a great level of information that was informative without being overwhelming. Tunnels explained very well - and no pressure whatsoever to go in if stressed. Only thing to bare in mind is when you go to the shooting range, it isn’t apparent how close you are to the guns when you arrive - and we were quite startled to suddenly have a massive bang. It might be obvious to some but wasn’t to us.
