A full day filled with history and experiences. It is a lot of sitting in a car, but that's because of the distances between the attractions and to Ho Chi Minh City.
By the tunells there were many things to see, not just tunells. Various traps and objects from the war, Vietcong kitchen and a shooting range (a bit too touristy and noicy for us, but they sold ice cream ????). We got to walk in one tunnel. The one we walked in was quite "easy" and my 5 year old could walk upright. I wish we'd had time to walk in others too.
We had a lovely lunch in a restaurant nearby, then 2 more hours in the car to the Mekong Delta.
On the Mekong Delta, a large, traditional motorboat took us to Unicorn Island were we watched a honey farm, fruits and a coconut candy factory. Last, we were in a small row boat on a narrow part of the river. Very relaxing.
