Our guide, Moises, was fantastic. We ended up having only three of us on the tour. We were picked up at the hotel and went first to Lake Llaviuco where we had an easy walk around the lake. Moises was a fount of knowledge about the history and plant and animal life. After a requested stop for coffee and chocolate at the Molina Express cafe, we went to the upper entrance for a long hike at 13,000 feet. Moises explained the very different plant life (different from the lower part of the park) and the history of the park and the region. It was some of the best eight hours of our trip.

Alles Tiptop
Sehr schöne Wanderung und super Guide. Auch das Essen am Ende lohnt sich sehr. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist die Tour relativ anspruchsvoll, also gute Ausrüstung mitnehmen!

Had a great day hiking in a group at Cajas national park, notwithstanding the freezing cold and driving rain! Amazing views, it was invigorating, but I'd recommend doing it on a day when you can return to your hotel and have a hot shower, unlike what I did, having to catch a flight that evening still in the same damp clothes. (Or bring a change of clothes with you on the tour). Our guide was terrific - very friendly and helpful.
