This tour allows us to know in a synthesized way the most important places of the archaeological and cultural offer of the provinces of Azuay and Cañar; our first stop is in the archaeological complex of Ingapirca, where our guides travel through the history of local aboriginal cultures and the expansion of the Incas in the territory corresponding to Ecuador. On this journey you can taste the typical gastronomic offer of the region (Biblián). We continue our tour to Gualaceo and Chordeleg. Places where the craft activity stands out. In Chordeleg we will visit the jewelry made in gold and silver with the technique of filigree, here our visitors will have the opportunity to have free time to know the town and visit the jewelers and craft shops in the area; To finish our tour we visit the House of Makanas.

    The Chordeleg canton is a small town belonging to the province of Azuay, this place was designated by UNESCO as "Creative City" because in this picturesque place we can observe: Toquilleras (women who make handicrafts made with toquilla straw) artifacts elaboration in mud and crafts in general. We must take into account that the main attraction of Chordeleg are the jewelers, where we can find a number of pieces in gold and silver, where the earrings known as "candongas" made in silver and gold filigree stand out.

I would say an improvement to this is to ask about seniors on the trip. There were portions of the tour that would have been free for seniors but instead were paid because I made the reservation through Viator. Otherwise, the tour was great. Our guide was very good (though he should have a mic) and the ruins were amazing.
