    Ingapirca is considered the most important archeological site of Ecuador, and here the guide will explain about the Cañari and Inca cultures traveling by sectors Cañari-Inca walls and appreciating the unique elliptical temple which was the Tahuantinsuyo.

    You will walk from the Ingapirca complex and you will meet the famous face of the Inca, which is located on the wall of one of the mountains. Then you will have time for a delicious lunch.

    The guide will stop on the way to explain about the preparation of typical food, especially the pig with the blowtorch.

    You will visit one of the most beautiful churches in all of Ecuador, that of the Virgen del Rocio, located on the sacred Cañari hill Shalao. Then you will travel an hour to Cuenca

Moses was fantastic! My parents only speak English and were able to understand him perfectly. He drove safely to Ingapirca and back, and it was a lovely scenic drive. Definitely worth the time and money!

We very much enjoyed our tour with Christian - he is very knowledgeable of Ecuador's history and was very kind and respectful to the places and people we visited. Our group included both Spanish and English speakers, and we were beyond impressed with Christian's ability to lead the tour in both languages, doubling as a language lesson for us as we listened closely to both versions of storytelling. We learned about some of Ecuador's history while visiting Ingapirca and Cerro Yanacauri and marveling at their historic structures. We also enjoyed delicious local foods and the opportunity to observe a local parade celebrating 24 years of Cañar being declared the cultural and archaeological capital of Ecuador. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful country with us!

This was an excellent trip! We were picked up promptly and our guide Christian was just wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable and charming. The Ingapirca ruins are really fabulous. I highly recommend this trip.
