The pune heritage walk was a remarkable experience. Our guide Ajit was simply fantastic. He was full of knowledge and humour. We really enjoyed how he brought a modern perspective to the ancient monuments. The unique temple if Lord Ganesh was mesmerizing and so was Shaniwarwada the Palace of Peshwas. We also had traditional chai (tea) along the way. We met and spoke to some locals and it was a memorable experience to learn about their way if life and how they manage this cusp of ancient and modern India.
This was one of the best walks I have done anywhere in the world. Very highly recommended.
