In the late 1890s, thousands of prospectors sailed through Bove Island's waterways here on their way to the Klondike in makeshift boats that they built on the shores of Bennett Lake. Bad communication: I had to contact them the day before to agree on pickup at the cruise dock and on time. I arrived 15 min before time, no sign (other than the tours of the cruise). I waited 30 minutes then left a message to remind for pickup. An Alaska mountain guides van showed up 30 minutes before but said they were not about that tour. They contacted the agency and they said my tour left, tried to contact me but didn't find me.... They said they will issue a refund. The point is it was too late to book a new tour so the afternoon at Skagway was wasted. Very disappointing and unprofessional. The lack of communication makes them unreliable. Let's hope you'll be picked up if you book them.

Sidney was an awesome tour guide and really made our journey absolutely comfortable and fun! She was very knowledgeable and was able to take us to many fun spots along the way.

The guides were great. The rock climbing was fun and everyone was patient and encouraging with the kids.
