This tour is designed for the first time traveler to the beautiful island of Roatan. It includes pick-up from your cruise ship port, airport, or hotel room, as well as a narrated tour of the west side of the island, where you'll find popular attractions. Typical itinerary includes: Mahogany Bay, French Harbor, West End, West Bay, Tabyana Beach, Butterfly Gardens, Gumbalimba Monkey Park, Iguana Farm, Carambola Botanical Garden, Anthony's Keys Resort (entrance fee to activities not included).

Any time - you are in control once on the island of Roatan. You tell us when you are ready and we'll be there to pick you up. Most of our customers are cruise ship travelers and we adjust our schedule depending on the ship's time of arrival on the island which our staff know very well. We never depart the cruise terminal without our guests unless we have confirmation of tour cancellation. Therefore, please don't stress when getting off the ship. However long it may take you to disembark we will be there waiting for you with our Roatan Adventure Tour signs in our hands.

  • Arch's Iguana & Marine Park, French Harbour, Honduras
    The iguana park began with Mr. Sherman hand feeding a handful of green iguanas multiple times per day. From about 1980 to 1994 all expenses incurred came directly out-of-pocket. In 1994 a local cameraman was visiting the park advised Mr. Sherman to put up a donation box to help aid with expenses. This park has now grown in an incredible animal sanctuary that cares for island fauna; iguanas, monkeys, turtles, and even fish.

Rudy was entertaining and informative. Vehicle needs alittle work but at least AC was ok. Monkey/sloth was fun. Interaction with animal was good Took us to Fosters beach club. Very unfriendly ( tried to overcharge us and were aggressive) Place was dirty and water was filthy. Can’t believe there isn’t a better beach and Rudy should not bring his guests there. Otherwise a pleasant day but think next time we go to Roatan will just stay on the ship

Our guide, Rudy, was great. He was friendly and polite and took us around the island and did the things we wanted to do. However, there was one issue with lunch. The place he brought us gave us a run down of the lunch and that the beach chair/umbrella, bathroom and WiFi package was $10 a person. There were 7 of us so that would be $70. When we asked the if they took credit cards he said yes. So we proceeded to eat there. We all order things we would have not ordered if we were paying in cash (saving the cash for the beach chairs, umbrellas, WiFi and bathrooms). When the bill came, he first told us the credit card machine was not working. When we told him we might not have enough cash, he then said it would be a 19% extra charge to use the credit card. We weren't sure what to believe now. So we had to pool our cash together to pay for lunch. Then we had no more for chairs/umbrellas/WiFi/bathroom and had to sit in the sand. We also did not have cash for Rudy's gratuity. So to leave Rudy a tip, we had to pay by credit card with 19% fee. I hope others that read this are now aware of the credit card fees in Roatan.

This was the best tour of our trip. It was great to ride along with Joao who knew everyone and was a local. He took us so many great places and gave us a realistic view of the island. I definitely will return to Honduras. If you are at all on the fence about taking this tour from your cruise, do it.
