Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An, Vietnam Exploring Hoi An on foot is one of the best ways to absorb the beauty of this city. While walking around Hoi An, exploring the small yet beautiful town, which tourists (even frequent visitors) find to be a place of quiet and peace. The unique atmosphere combines elements of Vietnam, China and Japan. The most remarkable views are from the ancient houses, reminding visitors of a long gone past and providing a momentary glimpse of a more subdued and simple time.
Visit to Hoi An Market, Hoi An Museum, many of the town’s renowned Ancient Houses which boast a remarkable architectural style, Assembly Halls of Chinese influence, Art Craft Manufacturing and of course the must-see Japanese Covered Bridge. These spots are considered as typical architecture styles in Hoi An and reflect clearly the cross culture among France, Japan, China and Vietnam. Passing over hundreds of years and withstanding the severity of the weather, Hoi An still exists and keeps the ancient and quiet beauty. 180 minutes

The area is unique and worth to go but the tour guide from Hoi An Express is not professional at all. All the way he walked by himself or sometimes disappeared. Not much information or expectation on the place but instead he asked a lot of information from us after knowing we are from Hong Kong.

Overall the Hoi An city tour was nothing great. This can definitely be skipped. However do visit Hoi An as it is beautiful by the night.

This tour was excellent, and for reasons that may have been related to a later start time 2 pm, we wound up with a private tour! They were also flexible about our return to Danang, so even though the guide stopped just after 5 p.m., we were able to enjoy the city for dinner and then return via Hoi An Express at 7:15.
The guide was very informative and spoke the best English of any guide we've had in Vietnam. Hoi An is a definite don't miss venue.
