Jolie Da Nang Cooking Class: Market-Coffee-Cooking (JDN2)

I really had a super good time thanks to Rosie. It is easy and fun cooking class and she is very kind and good at English.

My Thai partner and I are both highly experienced international tour guides/trip leaders. We both rate this cooking class as one of the best learning experiences we have been on. There were 5 in our afternoon class that ran from 3 pm to 7:30 pm. The class began with a walk through the Han Market where the leader Rosey bought all the main ingredients for our class. She explained about the various produce and other supplies. Then we were driven to the class location which has a very nicely appointed kitchen. We learned to make Pho, spring rolls, a papaya salad whose name I don't recall, egg plant and Vietnam style scrambled eggs with pork, shrimp and other ingredients. At the end we learned to make a flower from a tomato. All in all a very full and well planned lesson. At the end Rosey arranged a driver for us for the next day to Hoi An. During our ride the driver who spoke no Thai or English went to the Bana hand bridge instead of Hoi An. We didn't want to go there because of the $40 USD fee for entry to the bridge. The driver called and got Rosey on the phone. She made the necessary corrections and made sure we got refunded the fee we had paid to the road block toll crew. This was all done smoothly, calmly and without any stress on anyone's part. I rate the customer service and the authentic friendly attitude of the entire staff as tops. Five stars doesn't tell the full story. Those of you going to the Bana Bridge should be prepared for that $40 entrance fee.

It was fantastic experience in Da nang! We didn't expect these couse could be better that what we thought but Rosie made it. Ice breaking at first then go to market and she made this course fabulous. She told us stories, explain the ingredients recipe! So good high recomend for Da Nang activity!
