    Escape to the village of Somone, where is located the lagoon of the same name covering an area of 700 ha. The Somone Lagoon, a protected nature reserve, is home to many species of birds all year long. A guided tour in its mangrove swamp will make you discover birds such as: pelicans, herons and egrets, flamingos ... the lagoon and the baobab forest. After the visit you will taste local dishes that offer typical restaurants at the edge of the lagoon. After lunch, enjoy a free afternoon at the beach before returning to Saly. Optionally, you can enjoy oysters grown in the lagoon or grilled lobsters

C’est vraiment une activité top à faire si vous êtes de passage au Sénégal. Je recommande particulièrement la balade en pirogue abec Baye, pour 6000 francs seulement une balade d’une heure très complète, riche en apprentissages. Cest une balade tres apaisante, à faire idealement au coucher du soleil, et Baye est vraiment tres sympathique ! Vous pouvez reserver une excursion avec lui à ce numero : ‭+221 765292264‬

I did not go on my tour even though I paid for it because the tour guide did not show up . I’m in the process of trying to a my refund .

Si vous séjournez à Saly ou Dakar, cette lagune mérite le détour, d'autant qu'elle semble peu fréquentée. Et plus accessible que les mangroves du sud du Sénégal.
