Es wurde ein deutschsprachiger Tour Guide angeboten und bestätigt. Es kam aber nur ein englischsprachiger Guide . Auch wurde die Abholzeit um eine halbe Stunde nicht eingehalten. Vereinbart war Uhr 9.00 und nicht Uhr 9.30 !

Good time, enjoyed conversations with guide about Senegals past, present and future. Very informative. Pink Lake is a good experience. We did the 4 x 4 jeep instead of boat.

On the internet you can find information about when the lake is actually "pink", most sources speak about the period from Nov. till May. So I booked, I went the end of November, but the guide did not mention on the way (an hour by car) that the lake did not have the pink colour (not even a bit). Maybe because he was afraid that I would not go? Sad attitude, I'd like honest information. The lake is small, you can see the "salt extraction site", we did a small excursion with a little boat, nice because of the fresh wind, furthermore there is nothing more interesting to see or do.
