My group of 6 had a good tour but had a bad initial contact with the guide. Our guide Johnny reached out via text the next day about a mix up in scheduling and I responded with the following text.
Johny, first, we all enjoyed your tour and we thank you for taking our picture. The only problem was your initial attitude towards me. You were talking to other customers, and I approached and stopped about 15 feet away to give you room to do your business and wait my turn. I got a rather rude "I'll be with you in a minute, I'm taking care of them." Apparently 15 feet was not giving you enough room. When it was my turn, you informed me we were not on your list and must be with someone else, and went on to the next customer. I talked to one of your fellow employees who called and talked to "Lydia", who said we were in fact on your list. When I talked to you and informed you of his conversation with "Lydia" and we were, in fact on your list. You again, in my opinion got an attitude with me, and I returned the attitude as I had proof that I had paid $160+ and should be getting a tour but you were basically saying it was not your problem (and didn't want to see my confirmation e-mail). You then called "Lydia" yourself and found out we were on your tour, which again, we enjoyed. You give a good tour, but in my opinion, you need to work on your proverbial "bedside manner." In a nutshell, I feel like I gave you space to do your job, I paid for a tour that was appearing to be getting denied and then I got given an attitude. I finally responded in kind, which people who know me know that would be unusual unless I was given an attitude. Keep giving good tours, but work on the proverbial "bedside manner." PS, we thought you handled the unpaying "tour jumpers" well.
I never received a response back from my reply text to Johnny, telling him of my concerns about his attitude during initial contact. So, all 6 in my group enjoyed the tour, just not the guides initial attitude toward a paying customer who was in fact on his tour and tried to show him proof of a paid tour at 10 AM that day (3/22). All 6 in my group witnessed the initial attitude, but also really liked the tour and found it informative. Johnny just needs to work on his people skills, or as I referred to it as proverbial "bedside manner." Whoever the other employee was who contacted Lydia first had very good people skills and was very cordial. He was the first person I talked to. He said all his tour attendees were present and we must be on his (pointing to Johnny). After my first contact with Johnny, he saw me again and I told him Johnny said we were not in his group. He said he would call the office. After calling Lydia, he very politely told me I was in fact in Johnny's group and that I could advise Johnny of such, and that this info came from Lydia. I did not receive that cordial customer service attitude with Johnny. This initial contact is the reason I can not give a 5 star rating for what was otherwise an enjoyable tour. Johnny could learn some people skills from the other employee I interacted with.

We spent a week in east Texas but were looking for a quick thing to do on our way back home.
I found this informative hour tour which seemed to fit our requirements perfectly.
Our guide was very enthusiastic and informative debunking all conspiracy theorists arguments. He was well read and kept our full group engaged for the hour long tour that took us back to the fateful day in 1963.
We walked the last couple of blocks of the motorcade so it was easy for anyone who might have mobility issues.
I would recommend this tour.
