Really didnt know what to expect because a friend had planned everything and we just were going with the flow. Having worked in the tourism industry for half my life I both have the patience and the expectations for what a good tour should be. Our Tour guide Ana who spoke better Spanish than me (Im a gringo with 20 years in Costa Rica -- I do speak Spanish for the record) was the guide you want for your company. She was passionate and treated the tour like it was her first. This is one of the hardest things to find in the industry because doing the same thing day after day can become mundane but Ana has a story and its has heavy as it gets coming from the generation of the war and her form or expressing it still gives me chills a month after the trip sitting back here in Costa Rica. If you are looking for a guide in Dubrovnik ask for Ana and if you need a Spanish guide then its a no brainer for sure.
