Private Half-Day Boat Tour to nearby Islands in Zadar with Drinks

We had a lovely time on the boat, where we visited beautiful island where we could snorkel with masks in a pure clear water and later we stopped in a bay where we were jumping form the boat. Kids had so much fun. Skipper was lovely my and helpful to find the best location for us and treated us with some cold drinks nad figs from his own garden. Highly recommended. We been advised by Alice of the free parking. Loved it!

After meeting Alice at the quay, Saturday 20 August, we paid the balance in cash and awaited the arrival of our skipper and boat. Eventually he turned up later than our agreed time. I had informed Alice that I was a non-swimmer and would she tell the skipper. The skipper informed Alice the sea was too choppy for snorkelling off the coast so that experience was obviously cancelled. The trip to the first island, Preko, was indeed very choppy. No life vests were offered to myself , three other adults and our three grandchildren. We had to disembark by climbing onto another boat at the quay before getting off, not a good experience. Why could he not have tied his boat directly to the quay? The skipper on the boat we had to climb on was very helpful. We had an agreed time of the island and met our skipper at the agreed place. He walked from the bar with a bottle of beer in his hand which he held onto while steering the boat. The short trip to the next island was in calmer waters. Once again we needed the help of another boat, we climbed onto the other boat before stepping on the quay. He gestured to walk in a direction but it took so long we didn't have time to enjoy anything. By this time my husband could see the wind had strengthened and the waves were much higher. We met the skipper again and boarded the boat, at the quay 2 other skippers were gesticulating which way to leave the island but our skipper totally ignored any of their advice. The trip back was a complete nightmare with the boat tossing and banging down on the waves. He pointed to the children to sit on the floor near the engine cover, there was nothing for them to hold onto so the adults were leaning over. I cannot stress enough how traumatic this trip was for all of us and the nightmare won't go away. PLEASE check the drinking whilst in charge of a boat, the Health and Safety regulations on a boat with regard life vests. Alice may have a few years in the tourist industry but it has not given her the experience and knowledge of the seas.

We can't rate this trip high enough. Communication leading up to the boat trip was excellent. We were greeted by our skipper Bart at specified location. Bart was very friendly and professional. We visited two nearby islands where the length of time we stayed at each one within our booked trip time was up to us. Bart was informative about the area. We will definitely be back and hope for Bart as our skipper again.
