Mostar is a city and municipality in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

Our day with ‘Disco’ was wonderfully paced, easy to get our hotel pick up and seamless across the boarder. His local knowledge beat crowds so we got to the waterfall ahead of large coaches, stopped in Mostar ahead of crowds and had a strong knowledge of the history and what was on offer. His orientation information was really useful and helped us have a gorgeous day.

What a fantastic tour! We had a small group of 8. Bruno was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and experienced with all the history. He gave us great advice on places to visit and routes to go. He made sure our timings suited us and was flexible with it, he organised the route so that we didn't hit the huge crowds at the falls and we ended up being only a handful of people there.
