We had the most incredible day with Miho on this wine tour. It's hard to say the highlight of the day - we loved the oysters directly out of the sea and the family owned winery was also amazing. Miho gave us great history and information all along the way. This was the highlight of our time in Croatia.

We had the most amazing private tour with our guide Miho of the Peljesac peninsula. Miho was the perfect tour guide and is extremely knowledgeable not only about Peljesac but also about Croatia as a whole. He pointed out many things along our driver. He is incredibly friendly and very funny! We enjoyed his company very much. Now for the tour itself - We were a family of 6 (all adults) and this was the perfect day trip for us. We are big wine drinkers and had no idea what kind of treat we were in for! We were picked up from our hotel in Dubrovnik right on time and driven to Mali Ston where we met the wonderful fisherman Mario who took us out on his boat and to his oyster farm where we enjoyed oysters straight from the water - a truly unique and wonderful experience that we will remember forever. From there we did a quick stop and Ston and then off to Peljesac to experience two different wineries. The first was a larger operation with beautiful views and the second was family run smaller winery but absolutely wonderful and the owner was so hospitable and lovely. It was amazing to experience both and see the difference in the two to compare. All of the wines we tasted from both vineyards were amazing. We had no idea how good Croatian wine was before our trip! Everyone said this was their favorite day by far during our week in Croatia! Highly recommend.

A Perfect Blend of History, Wine, and Fresh Seafood
Once again, Miho delivered an absolutely outstanding tour experience that perfectly showcased the best of Croatia's Pelješac Peninsula. This half-day adventure combined historical exploration, world-class wine tasting, and an unforgettable culinary experience that ranks among our top travel memories.
The Oyster Farm Experience - Pure Magic
The absolute highlight of this tour was our visit to the oyster farm in Ston, where we met Mario, the local oyster farmer. This wasn't just a tasting - it was a complete immersion into the traditional way of life. Mario welcomed us aboard his small boat and took us directly into Ston Bay, where he demonstrated the fascinating process of oyster cultivation.
Watching Mario pull fresh oysters straight from the pristine waters was captivating, but the experience became truly magical when he shucked and prepared them right there on the boat. Paired with his own homemade wine, these incredibly fresh oysters from Ston Bay created a dining experience that money simply can't buy in restaurants.
Milos Winery - World-Class Excellence
Our visit to Milos Winery exceeded every expectation we have as wine connoisseurs. The historic cellar provided the perfect ambiance for what turned out to be a first-class facility showcasing world-class quality winemaking. Every aspect of the experience - from the wines themselves to the presentation and facility - met the high standards we've come to expect from premium wine destinations around the world.
Historical and Cultural Insights
Miho's expertise extended far beyond wine, as he guided us through the ancient stone walls of Ston and introduced us to a local salt farm. Learning that this salt production dates back to medieval times added incredible depth to our understanding of the region's rich history and enduring traditions.
Final Recommendation
This tour represents everything that makes Croatian tourism exceptional - authentic experiences, knowledgeable local guidance, and access to traditions that have been preserved for generations. The combination of fresh oysters straight from the bay, world-class wines, and fascinating historical context creates an experience that's both educational and deeply satisfying.
I absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Dubrovnik area. Ask specifically for Miho as your guide - his knowledge and passion for the region make all the difference.
