Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje), Zadar, Croatia The Sea Organ has become a modern icon of the city – this is a unique architectural miracle built in the underwater part of the city quay. The currents of waves and their passage through musical pipes installed beneath the surface of the sea create an amazing sound, the so-called sea music, filling the large space of the seaside promenade.
The same architect, Nikola Bašić, takes credit for the Greeting to the Sun, situated right at the top of Zadar peninsula. The Greeting to the Sun consists of three hundred multilayer glass plates installed at the same level as the stone paving of the quay in the shape of a circle 22 meters in diameter. It is conceived as a spatial installation in the shape of an amphitheater surrounded by stone blocks with a presentation of all Solar System planets and their orbits.
According to the famous Alfred Hitchcock, this part of the Zadar quay provides a view of the most beautiful sunset in the world. 10 minutes

Limited time available so requested early pick with operator. No reply for over two hours, then contacted to say that pick would remain 1430. Needless to say even that was not achieved & arrived 1445. As we needed to be back on board ship by 1630 , caused stress.
The tour , despite driver David being friendly & knowledgeable, felt rushed and was of comparatively little interest..
Total time of tour was 1 hour 5 mins , not the 90 to 120 advertised.. very poor value.

Absolute must when visiting Zadar. From booking with Marin to our guide Joseph, this was a great trip to experience.
The guided tour with local knowledge was delivered really well and those little touches Joseph showed were great attention to detail making our experience one to remember .

We had a fantastic Tuk Tuk tour in Zadar with Josip! It was the perfect way to see multiple sites around the city, especially on a hot day when walking would’ve been tough. Josip was a wonderful guide—friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us just the right mix of history and local insight, making the experience both fun and informative. Highly recommend this tour if you want a unique and comfortable way to explore Zadar!
