Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and in spite of the weather, it was lovely to see something of the Hungarian countryside. I’m not very interested in churches, especially those built within the last 100 years, but the town of Estragom looked interesting in spite of the drizzle. The arty village was nice, though many shops were closed, it was February. My main problem was that there was a lot of walking- and hilly walking at that. There should be a warning that visigrad is at the top of a steep hill, and the village was also a cobbled and hilly walk.

Visites très intéressantes et lieux magnifiques. Guide très qualitatif. Suggestion : supprimer l’arrêt déjeuner dans ce restaurant sans intérêt qui est une perte de temps et le point faible de cette journée (grande perte de temps pour pas grand chose - industriel et touristique à souhait). Aller directement à Sentendre pour profiter réellement de ce magnifique village avant la tombée de la nuit et manger (librement) sur place. Cela fera travailler les commerçants de ce village d’art qui mérite que l’on y passe du temps.

Danube Bend experience was wonderful. Added bonus was the crossover into Slovakia, so now I can add a new country to my list of countries visited. The 3 villages visited all had their individual charm.
