Perhaps most unique to Mikumi is the large buffaloes population. The largest member of the antelope family cuts a striking figure as it grazes on the open fields, and the park's huge array of birdlife (over 400 species) make it a birder's paradise as well. Big cats such as lions and leopard are also available

We definitely have one of our best time travelling to Mikumi with Santiago. This guy is just amazing and so friendly that we felt we knew him for years. His kindness, availibility and knowledge was the best we could not even expect for this trip. We strongly recommend to enjoy Mikumi with Santiago as he is simply the best. Elias and Alyssa
