Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park. It’s also the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Since the completion of the paved road connecting the park gate with Dar es Salaam, Mikumi National Park has been slated to become a hubspot for tourism in Tanzania. Located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, and only a few hours’ drive from Tanzania’s economical city. The park has a wide variety of wildlife that can be easy spotted for maximum game viewing. We cherished our Safari with our guide Amani. He made our experience as remarkable as it has been. He is client driven - continuously guaranteeing we were cheerful and any conceivable need was satisfied. He has a great deal of information about the people, culture and region. He was really cordial, positive and makes a special effort to help individuals. 10/10 would recommend doing your tour with Amani when you book with Enroute Africa.

We did the city tour with my wife and Emmanuel adviced that we go for the 3 days Safari to Mikumi and as we were on holiday in Zanzibar we decided this was the best time to visit the country side from Dar es salaam. We cant be more happy, people are loving and kind in Tanzania, we enjoyed every moment of the safari, our guide was awesome in helping us get the best of times, The timid nature of people in Africa had us realise alot of goodness left in Human and we are truly humbled. Please host us again when we plan a trip back to Africa with the rest of our families. Thank you guys
