A 11-day adventure-filled trip traveling from Darwin to Cairns through the most remote parts of the Savannah Way.  We travel east through Kakadu, Mataranka, Lorella Springs and Lawn Hill before finishing up in the tropical rainforest on the outskirts of Cairns. Our tours are focused on providing you with an Australian outback adventure.  We explore the best natural attractions along the Savannah Way; observing native wildlife in their natural habitat, hiking through gorges, discovering ancient aboriginal rock art and swimming in pristine natural waterholes.

Awesome scenery that changed every day, abundance of wildlife (buffalo, dingoes, cattle,kangaroos, crocodiles, pythons)..educational and fun guide. First time sleeping in a swag, putting up & pulling down tents, all hands helping cook amazing healthy tasty meals...& swims in gorgeous billabongs & waterfalls A real holiday away.

This was our second tour with KOAT, so Greg and I knew what we were in for. Sleep in Swags, light tents, prepare meals, wash up and packing the truck each day. With 14 other willing visitors, the work load was made easy and the holiday was truly one to remember. The meals were varied and yummy, Adam (tour guide) often cooked a damper in the evenings and on the last night a roast cooked in a camp oven with all the side dishes was just to die for. Adam was very experienced as a tour guide, his knowledge of the land, flora and fauna we travelled was extensive. We learnt so much about the cattle, the weather and the local people. The tour was designed to give us a swim most days which helped coping with the heat of the day. Adam showed patience with a couple of the passengers in our group that had disabilities. We would recommend this tour as it is great value for money and if you like camping, walking, swimming and sleeping under the stars, its a must do trip. Thank you KOAT for giving us a fabulous trip from Darwin to Cairns along the Savanah Way.
