Afternoon Natural History Walk + Costa Rican Snack break + Night Walk Tour, a perfect combo to enjoy the most of nature and culture. It lasts 6 - 7 hours and it includes private guide, transportation, snack break, entrance fees, and IVA. This combo is popular for a few reasons. First, the afternoon walk at the beautiful Monteverde trails takes place without the morning crowds, providing a very pleasant experience. This is my second visit to Monteverde cloud Forest and I can tell you that the day and night guided tour from Marcos of Pasión Costa Rica completely made the difference this trip. My mother is a naturalist herself, specializing in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska - and we were so incredibly impressed by Marcos. He is absolutely world class, I think this is the sort of experience that my dad raves about from his top tier African Safari guides. I've not experiences such knowledge, breadth of expertise, or entertaining communication from a guide before - not by a long long shot. Further, Susu of Pasión Costa Rica executed excellent pre-tour communications. Everything was fantastic. Thank You!

The tours provided by Pasion Costa Rica were fantastic! Marcos was our guide for both a morning tour of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, and the Night Tour in an area near Monteverde. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and did a great job of both educating us and sharing his excitement about the plant, animal and insect life of the cloud forest. We were a group of 11, including 9 undergraduate college students on their first trip to Costa Rica. Marco made the tour very engaging for all!
