Oscar drove us from Luxor to Hurghada, a long journey in which we agreed a fair price. Oscar was a safe driver and provided a luxury vehicle. We stopped for lunch and invited Oscar to join us. Oscar shared stories, wisdom and knowledge with us, whilst trying to teach us a bit of Arabic. When I return to Luxor I will reach out to Oscar not only as a tour leader but also as a friend.
