My husband and I took a private tour of Alexandria and it was a lot of fun. Our tour guide (Jacob) was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, organized and had a great sense of humor. The catacombs were a lot bigger and more decorated than I had expected them to be. The tombs had a mix of ancient Egyptian, Roman and Hellenistic influences. They looked different from anything else I had seen. The Citadel was amazing. They allow people to go inside and explore all of the different levels. The view from the watch towers on the top floor is really cool. We had lunch at a Shawarma place and the food was amazing.

Mohamed Hassan was an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend.

Didn't love the catacombs so much but everything else was amazing! Would have preferred more time in the library in retrospect. Still a good tour and good food suggestions to accompany!
