Anwar was an informative and friendly guide and he drove us carefully. It is a long journey and he made sure we were comfortable. Chefchaouen is definitely worth visiting. We enjoyed the hike up to the Spanish mosque and a good salad at Cafe Clock. The drive included some lovely scenery.

The city is vibrant and beautiful. The driver on the hand, was just that—he drove and got us there and back safely. But he did not communicate much, other than at the first stop he said 10 minutes, second stop, he said nothing. And when he dropped us off, he said here 5 PM. He wasn’t personable or approachable and that unfortunately is what we remember most. This maybe a one off…I would still recommend this trip.

A very beautiful city in which to walk and photograph!! On the other hand a day is a little short because from Fez there is 3h30 drive so we leave you on site for lunch and a free time barely two hours...
