Mt Vesuvius was absolutely wonderful. Be prepared to hike up a pretty steep mountain. We had some people in our group not able to do it. Pompeii was also beautiful, however our tour guide was very long winded. She gave tooooo much information at each stop. We could have done it in half the time or seen more. I would give that portion a 2. Our kids and adults lost interest quickly.

We booked this tour for Sept. 14 because this tour claimed having hotel pick up. But the operator informed us last minute no hotel pickup. I received email the evening before the tour as below: " Dear Customer, THE PICKUP IS CHANGED as the provider of the tour purchased by you, we reconfirm the pick up at 08.​00AM outside bar PIC-​NIC Molo Beverello, Port of Naples Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled time, note that there may be delays due to traffic so please contact us in case you do not see anybody 10 minutes past the confirmed pickup time.​ If you are on the cruise, please to provide us ship's name.​ this is valid as a single reconfirmation of pick-​up and meeting points.​ Any other communication received following this email is not to be taken into consideration regards, FRANCESCO " Then, hour later, around 8pm Sept 13, I received phone call from this tour for the new pick up place. The caller was a cold/nasty/dishonest woman, not apologetic for the last minute change at all. Instead, she said the tour did not have hotel pick up, they never planned for do the hotel pick up. I have the printout ticket showing my hotel picket up location. Next day morning, we reluctantly got up earlier, took a taxi to the new pick up place. During tour lunch, we realized the tour did the exact same thing to the couple we shared table with. But the couple did not buy their lies, insisted on hotel pickup as it was agreed upon, and did not show up at the new pick up place in the morning Sept 14. The tour did not see them so called them 8 am Sept 14, pick them up at the hotel
