    First note: It will be not Quinta do Tedo, but another estate nearby, called Quinta Val Moreira. It´s such a small (but very nice) estate that doesn't show up here. It is also a Portuguese estate, manage by portuguese and it has their own brand: "Val Moreira" A tour through the cellar and after a wine tasting: - one white; - one red; - one port All of them "Val Moreira", all included.

A day like no other! Anselmo spent 10.5 hours giving the five of us what felt like a tour of the hidden gems of the Duoro Valley. He is an excellent driver in whom I had complete confidence. This is important because the scenic road is fairly gnarly to drive. Anselmo is the consummate professional, who took an interest in us and answered all of our questions, without ever getting overly personal. We all learned so much about the region, port wine, and appreciated spending the day with a local guide who speaks impeccable English. Highly recommend spending!

Anselmo is knowledgeable, easy-going, and fun - a truly outstanding guide. He made our tour of the Douro Valley into a truly unforgettable experience. He is very engaging and tactful. It is obvious that he is passionate about his work. His understanding of the region and its food and wine traditions was both fascinating and enlightening. We came away not only with a deeper appreciation for Portugal’s wine country, but also with fond memories of time spent with Anselmo.

We had a fantastic time on our tour with Anselmo. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. We learned a ton about the Douro Valley and its Port Wine. My wife , daughter and niece and I were so impressed with his choices of vineyards and the river cruise. We highly recommend Anselmo as a tour guide, it was a memorable experience.
