This park is located between the towns of Lisse and Hillegom, in the west of the Netherlands, and just 45 minutes drive from Amsterdam. The place covers more than 32 hectares, full of impressive landscapes, adorned with the most representative Dutch flower: the tulip. Admire the tulips and all the other varieties of flowers that the park offers. With your guide, you will have a 1 hour tour of the park and then you will enjoy over 2 hours of free time to visit, take beautiful photos, climb the Keukenhof windmill and much more!

    Once you arrived at the park, there will be an explanation of about 45 minutes inside the park, and your guide will take you to the first pavilion (Oranje Nassau). During the tour, your guide will give you more explanation about the so-called Historical Park, where stands a statue of the famous botanist Carolus Clusius, who planted the first tulip bulb on the Dutch soil. After that, you will enjoy some free time to explore the park on your own.

We went on a Saturday. It was extremely beautiful, but super crowded. The bus service was very well organized, and punctual. Thank you to Nick and Jolanda :-)

Keukenhof was great. Tour leader not so good for english speakers. Toooooo fast and quiet voice. Could not hear even after asking for more volume Did not keep umbrella up while walking.

Beautiful gardens in spite of the poorly organized tour. We were NOT notified that there was the annual flower parade! (Which created increased traffic thus the schedule change )Therefore the tour LEFT half an hour early. Fortunately, I got there early. Others were not so fortunate. The tour registrant was disorganized at check in saying there was no 9am tour. …. the group leader was also disorganized. She had no credentials nor a banner, umbrella or jacket to distinguish her from the rest of the crowd . 80% of tour was is Spanish 20% in English - she barely spoke& left the group to pick up other people. Most of us dropped off to explore on our own after her “wait for me here” We were better off on our own.
