I booked this trip as the itinerary on trop advisor said 2 hours at Volubilis, 1 hour at Moulay Idris, and 1 hour at Mekenes. I researched the most popular tours and chose this one as I wanted to spend more time at Volubilis.
When we got to Volubilis, the driver said 1 hour here. When I questioned Simo, tue driver, he said I was wrong and trip adviser didn't say that. when I showed him the info from trip advisor, he just shrugged and said he had to go with the rest of he group, but wasn't open to extending this to 1 and a half hours at Volubilis. We then stayed in Moulay Idris for 5 minutes, and we're told there is nothing to do here, and then we spent more than 3 hours in Mekenes. If you are interested in Volubilis, I think a grand taxi and doing this independently would be the best way to go. Just don't believe this itinerary as it is just a lie

I really enjoyed visiting the old ruins of Volubilis. I would have like to have seen more of Moulay Idriss rather than from above and rather that Meknes, as there was too much time and not a lot to do.
