Come join us as we explore Delhi’s culture and art scene on this street art tour. This tour will begin in Khan Market, the epitome of Delhi real estate, where contemporary Indian design meets with traditional Indian aesthetics. Then we walk through the spectacular 90-acre Lodi Gardens where we will look back at 15th century design as we discover tombs, mosques and bridges built during the Sayyid and Lodhi periods. Finally, we will show you through the Lodhi Art District, home to Delhi’s street art. The art aims to represent a variety of social issues and gives a wonderful understanding of today’s India.

We had a great experience at the street art tour with Reality Tours. We took the tour in the afternoon and it was a lot of fun. First we looked at a diverse platter of graffiti and paint art and our amazing guide gave us an insight in their meaning and the artists who made them. Also we had a short break with a masala tea, which was perfect! After the we had seen all the street art in that area we went to a parc with beautiful ancient remains of buildings (monuments) and learned sone details about Indian history making us understand the infrastructure and general structure of Delhi better. Totally recommend to anyone who’s interested in Street Art and wants to have a relaxed walk while learning about what is on Delhis mind.

We hired a guide who showed this interesting street art and described the artists from around the world who participated in the project. The walls are on a series of buildings built by the British shortly before independence and are occupied by government employees. Some of the art is in need of refurbishment, but nice to see this project.
