Nyhavn stop. Little mermaid stop. Punctual bus with very polite drivers. Narration was a bit boring because it kept talking about green energy more than history.

Bought a combined hop-on hop-off bus and canal tour ticket online before coming away, both parts of which were easily redeemed from the QR code I was given when booking. The bus was warm and dry, an ideal way to see the sights on a cold and wet December day. The driver gave some commentary but there was good headphone audio throughout (headphones provided on board). The default setting seemed to be English. There was enough time to get off and take photos of the Little Mermaid and then get back on the same bus rather than having to wait for the next one! Stop 1 is right next to one of the canal boat pick up points. It’s a shame that only one of the three routes runs in winter and that the hop on hop off canal boat also doesn’t seem to run, but the grand canal tour was great anyway. My husband and I were very happy with our day exploring in the relative warm and dry despite the actual weather conditions!
