    First stop will be in Thumrait Town to have a few minutes refreshment and may be enjoying the Taste of Arabian cup of Coffee (Qahwah) and Dates (Tamer). The town of Thumrait has been a vital point in the ancient Frankincense trading routes. It is one of the main Cities of Dhofar Governorate due to its strategic location on the main road between Dhofar and the rest of the Sultanate.

  • Ubar, Oman
    Stop at this World Heritage Site of the Gum Road in Dhofar province, located at the southern end of the Empty Quarter Desert in the so-called "shasr" or "Ssar" part. Learn about this ancient site discovery history. Evidence has indicated that the site has been inhabited since the Stone Age, and there are traces indicating the most recent settlement of this land dating back to the Iron Age, i.e. around 325 BC. Excavations and excavations at the site revealed the existence of an ancient archaeological city believed to be the city of "Erm al-Imad", which was mentioned in the Holy Quran, a land that the Hood people "did not create in the country", as mentioned in the Qur'anic text, and excavations are continuing to reveal further traces. ‎

    Arrive at 05 30 pm at the marvellous sand dunes close to Al-khadaf and start your thrilling adventure around. Experience the fun, thrilling dune pashing experience and calming walk on the golden sand hills around and close your day holding your camera in hand at tip of the dunes viewing the spectacular golden hour of the sunset at the empty quarter desert. An experience that will definitely last in your memory.

    ‎ After sunset, Proceed to the nearby Layali Desert camp, where you will be welcomed with a nice smile and refreshing worm cup of tea will be locating your overnight tent. Gather to be briefed about the night program and oriented about your stay. Rest for a while and get ready for a delicious Arabian buffet dinner. Make most of your stay and enjoy the night life of the desert while watching for the shooting stars. Sleep tight and getup early to catch the extraordinary desert sunrise. After that, get ready for a nice Arabian breakfast before we proceed to our last stop at the valley of frankincense tree (Wadi Dawkah). End of tour and return to start point.

  • Wadi Dawkha, Salalah, Oman
    This valuable National Reserve of frankincense trees ((boswellia sacra) from which the resin was produced, collected and traded, is situated in Wadi Dawkah 40 KM North of Salalah city. This place Has been a significant stop along the antiquated Frankincense Trail line, an incense exchange course that has been utilized by dealers for centuries. Around 5,000 frankincense trees can be found right now, including some antiquated example. In spite of the fact that frankincense trees can arrive at a stature of 26 feet, most trees in Wadi Dawkah are close to 10 feet high. Accompanied by your guide, you will be explained thoroughly about the detailed story behind this important Frankincense trail stop.

  • Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised, and photo-chromatic lenses for those who wear spectacles. Hats or some protection for the head are advisable when in direct sunlight. Oman has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear should be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages.
  • 4x4 vehicles used for the off-road safaris are air-conditioned with a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.

We had a great experience with our guide Abdullah. He was very knowledgeable and experienced in desert driving. It was absolutely very exciting trip. Specially it was our first time to empty quarter. We stayed in a very organized camp. Excellent local food and fruits. Sunrise experience was also stunning. Lovely trip. Thank you Abdullah. Highly recommend it.

Escursione da non perdere, esperienza indimenticabile. Non è facile descrivere le sensazioni che si provano nel deserto; si possono usare parole come silenzio, pace, stelle, tramonti ed albe mozzafiato, ma vi assicuro è molto di più e bisogna provarlo per comprenderlo. A rendere più incantevole l’escursione è stata l’ottima cena Omanita e il fuoco acceso in una cornice impagabile. La nostra guida Hamid ci ha consentito di vivere un’esperienza fantastica, dotato di una preparazione eccellente su tutti i fronti: è stato puntuale, brillante, simpatico e disponibile a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. La consiglierei a chiunque… Grazie ancora Hamid.

It was a fantastic experience that I can recommend to all people. The colors of the desert are impressive! The tour organization extremely good and our tour guide Hamid was very nice, patient and open to accept our needs even if it was radaman period. Great people and great Country and amazing experience
