Combined with a little tour of the area, it made for a good half day trip from Dhaka. Book a 50$ tour from Dhaka and you’ll be alright.

We did 3 tours with Cholo - and all of them can be recommended full-heartedly. This is an absolutely reliable tour operator - in every respect. Communication is fast and to the point. Pick-up is well organized, always earlier than announced. Cars are good, drivers as well. Tour guidance is knowledgeable, friendly, even charming, very patient, but also well-organized regarding place and time. We had much fun and got to know many details about life in Bangladesch. 5 stars for Rocky and his team!!!!! Elke (Germany)

Took the day trip to Sonargoan with Rocky which was really enjoyable. Rocky is a great communicator, mellow, easy going and ensures you have a good experience. Sonargoan is definitely worth a visit and was so much easier on a tour, as local transport and traffic would have made it more difficult. Would definitely recommend and trust Cholo because of their rates, experience and the way they handled the deposit anomaly which wasn't their fault.
