Tsavo East National Park is Kenya’s largest and is known for its wonderful diversity of wildlife. Famous for the Tsavo lions, there are close to 700 in this ecosystem. This action-packed day trip is a dawn to dusk experience. Prepare to spend at least 6 hours viewing spectacular wildlife and colourful landscapes.     DIANI – TSAVO EAST – DIANI (Round trip Approx. 400km) The Tsavo East day trip starts before dawn. This allows you to marvel at the African sunrise and to spend maximum time at the Tsavo East National Park. Depart your Diani area location and make the ferry crossing at Likoni Proceed along the Nairobi – Mombasa highway on a scenic 2.5 hour drive along smooth tarmac. There shall be a short stop by the park entrance gate for breakfast or refreshments (not included in safari price) Commence game viewing in search of Elephant, Lion, Cheetah, Buffalo, Giraffe, Antelope and many more animal species. Lunch shall be at a rustic restaurant overlooking the Tsavo East plains or at one of the safari lodges. Time permitting, there shall be an extra game viewing drive after lunch. Later depart Tsavo East for the Diani beach areas to arrive approximately 6.30PM Drop off at your Diani /Tiwi beach areas or any South coast location

Magic day with Abdu who drove us around, he was an excellent and experienced guide who told us a lot about all the animals we saw. Very good food at Ashnil! We should have stayed longer :)

from start to end, we had an excellent experience with Natural World Safaris. Martha at the Diani office was excellent - so friendly and informative - the trip itself was fantastic and Adam (driver guide) was superb. I would definitely book again if we return and have more time for a longer safari around Kenya. I have been on many safaris in Kenya and I was a expedition leader and safari guide in my previous career for more than ten years - these guys know what they are going and we highly recommend them.
