The "discover scuba diving" program includes a short 20 minute video followed by a brief orientation from our instructor on dive procedures, underwater communication and dive skills before conducting 2 open water dives to maximum 40 feet. You will start the first dive in very shallow water on a sandy bottom getting used to being underwater and practicing a few skills. Once you complete the skills and feel comfortable you will continue with the instructor to explore the dive site and see the marine life around.  On the second dive we don't do skills and just enjoy the underwater world.

Even though I have snorkeled many times, I was nervous about the scuba experience. Ceasar, our personal teacher, for my husband and me, was patient, encouraging, amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and did I mention patient? This was an incredible initial experience and I believe we will now pursue dive certification. It's a different and amazing world beneath the sea. And bonus, we saw a mother humpback with her calf and an auntie, plus the so fun to watch Devil Rays flippity flipping out of the sea. East Cape Explores⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went for 2 dives with East Cape Explorers and had a great time! The water was pretty cold in February and the visibility also not ideal, but that’s obviously not their fault. We booked everything through PADI and it was an easy procedure to rent all the equipment too. Luckily we got 2 wetsuits to survive in the water :D Max & James were also really funny and experienced, they made sure we had lots of fun! Got some GoPro Content from them as well which was nice :) plus we got to see incredible whales on the way to the dive spots!

Had a great time with Max and James! Completed my Advanced Open Water course while I was there! Water temp was much more suitable than back home in Seattle. At the end of the course I was able to go on the Gordo Banks dive which was simply amazing, swimming w hundreds of hammer head sharks! I couldn’t have been in better hands with James and Max! Our safety was their #1 priority aside from having an excellent experience! We saw everything, including Humpback, Grey whales and Mobula rays while on the surface right next to the boat! Got great photos and videos that will last forever! Max and James were both extremely knowledgeable about diving and the marine life around us. I wouldn’t dive with anyone else in Cabo! They also have a sister dive shop in San Lucas, Dive Cabo
