The "discover scuba diving" program includes a short 20 minute video followed by a brief orientation from our instructor on dive procedures, underwater communication and dive skills before conducting 2 open water dives to maximum 40 feet. You will start the first dive in very shallow water on a sandy bottom getting used to being underwater and practicing a few skills. Once you complete the skills and feel comfortable you will continue with the instructor to explore the dive site and see the marine life around.  On the second dive we don't do skills and just enjoy the underwater world.

Thanks for the awesome dive Easy Cape Explorers! Staff was extremely helpful trying to get me out in the water due to some verification issues. We were able to figure it out and I joined for a 2 tank local dive just minutes away from the office. Equipment was in good shape, the dive sights had variety of fish and sea life, and the guides were top notch! Thanks Eduardo and East Cape Staff! My only recommendation would be some fresh fruit for snacks between dives. Cheers and happy diving!

Max was a wonderful dive master. Very safety detail oriented. We had a fantastic time and are looking forward to an adding a few more rec dives to our logbook to go back for Deep Blue! Ruben was a wonderful captain and Cappy (dog) made a great dive dog!

Me and my wife just had amazing dives at East Cape Exlporers! We really appreciated how the crew prioritized safety for all the divers on deck, and went above and beyond to make the diving experience enjoyable. We would personally like to thank Max and Rosie for being such great dive masters, not only for their skills but also for their kindness and positive attitudes. And also captain Rubin who took us to the ocean safely!! The team here is simply great and we would greatly recommend to newer divers!! We hope to come back in January to join their dives again.
