The City Tapas & Wine tour takes you to discover the city of Tavira and at the end of the tour you will be entitled to a local tapas tasting at the restaurant Ti Maria, one of our partners. Pass and stop in the salt pans, pass through the Atalaia area, the Convento das Bernardas, former prison and stop at the São Sebastião church. It also passes by the military barracks, São Francisco church and São José church (former hospital church). Then we continue on Rua da Liberdade and Praça da República (center). The historic area is the most important area of this tour, where we will visit Convento da Graça, Santiago Church, Santa Maria Church, Misericórdia Church and stop at the Castle. Almost at the end of the tour we go to Alto de São Brás, where we find the Chapel of São Brás and the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo. To end the tour, Maria's Tuk Tuk takes you to Ti Maria Restaurant, where you will have a tapas and wine menu included.

Great tour! Very informative and a good fun way to see Tavira’s highlights! The tour explored the cobbled streets, multiple churches and the salt fields. It finishes at Ti Maria for great food & wine. Definitely recommended

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! Do not miss! Thank you Joao for the most amazing experience, your family business is exceptional. This tour is a must do. You get your own tour guide and the trip on a electric tuk tuk. My husband and I really enjoyed this experience, it allows you to see the main spots in Tavira and to discover the art and culture of this extraordinary town. Joao is from Tavira and he knows the story inside out. It's a friendly, exclusive way to discover Tavira. 110% recommended! After the tour we were taken to a beautiful tapas bar for a set menu with wine. Ti Maria restaurant was exceptional. Best tour in town!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this very informative tour. Our guide was very knowledgable. The tapas at Ti Maria’s was delicious. A great way to see and understand Tavira. Would recommend.
