Sunset beach Horseback riding in Macao Beach

Tour operator didn't show up twice!!! First time he apologized then he offered a new date and again could get there. We would like a refund. I have the text messages and emails that document our experience. First time we waited an hour and a half, second time an hour in the heat with long pants for riding. Please refund--operator agree as the second time was our last day on the island. Please let us know how to get the refund asap. thank you!

Disfrutamos de una bella excursión a caballo con nuestro guía, los caballos están muy limpios y parecen cuidados también. Chiquito y Mantequilla nos dieron un paseo por el interior de los bosques hasta la playa, un paseo por la misma y luego hacia la desembocadura del río. Increíbles fotos con el atardecer, mi pareja yo salimos encantados.

Juan, our driver was great! Happy, helpful, easy to talk to. We felt safe with Juan. Kinda want to hire him as a private tour guide! The horses were calm and seemed healthy. The beaches were a little dirty but there’s not a lot the company can do about that. We weren’t even on the beaches most of the time. We were in the jungle, farms, and back through the little town for a majority of the ride. It was advertised as a sunset ride but it was more of a late afternoon ride. We were probably an hour too soon even though they pushed the start time back an hour. There were two kids following us around on a scooter taking pictures of us (kind of annoying). When we got to a little river area they had us get off the horses and do a bunch of poses for the camera. Kinda felt weird. Then he told us $60 for all the pictures. We negotiated down to $40 mostly because we felt bad for them. All of the pictures were out of focus hahahah. Our selfies ended up being better pictures but what can you do? Not sure it’s worth $105 each but all well. Overall, it was a nice experience but I’m not drooling over it. I’d try to get that price down to $75 each and don’t buy the pictures unless you are feeling generous.
