We came on a cruise ship and Nelson and John were a hoot. Nelson gave tons of background knowledge on the way to the waterfalls and ensured us that we were not only going to be safe, but that we’d make it back to our cruise on time. The waterfalls were a ton of fun - just keep in mind the hike to the waterfalls is strenuous and takes around 30-45 minutes. They did give us water and we stopped for plenty of breaks in between. Don’t be dumb like me and drink all your water before the hike ???? The waterfalls themselves were a ton of fun. Completely safe to jump off of (the water is so deep) and the water is ice cold. Super refreshing after a long hike. After the waterfalls we had an authentic Dominican lunch - the food was good. We then went to a tobacco farm and learned about all the indigenous crops and how Dominicans roll their cigars. Overall the experience was amazing! We loved John (our paparazzi guy) and photos were well worth the price as he got tons of pictures of us that I couldn’t capture on the GoPro I bought. Definitely don’t skimp out on the photos!

Even in the rain, we had a blast! The guides were fun, and helpful, and kept us laughing throughout the experience. No need to take anything with you - their photos were awesome!
