You cannot help but feel the magic as you rappel off a mushroom shaped waterfall into a deep, cool, blue. This is after scrambling through spectacular scenery. After preparing for your canyoning adventure at our base camp you will be driven to the entrance of the canyon. Upon entering the canyon will be briefed on safety and canyoning techniques.This tour includes rappels, cliff jumps, and hiking. After spending two to three hours in the canyon you have a short 30-minute climb/hike out of the canyon. Upon exiting the jungle your transportation will be waiting to take you back to base camp to enjoy a Dominican style lunch. This canyoning tour can only be described as amazing.This tour is great for beginners, but we do recommend a reasonable level of fitness. This tour is not suited for those under 12 years old. This excursion was honestly the highlight of my experience in the DR. Helmut, Maximo, Alberto and his wife were so kind and welcoming! We were picked up at the hotel, drove about 30-40 minutes to the location where we suited up for the adventure, and then took a lovely stroll on a country lane before diving into the thick, beautifully green and lush forest. We scaled down cliff sides, dived into deep, dreamy, blue waters. The beauty and of this place cannot be over stated. Every turn was another treasure to behold. Helmut and Alberto were very knowledgeable, made us feel safe. I am so grateful. ¡Gusta por todo!

Helmut and Alberto were amazing guides. They were very knowledgeable, experienced, and serious about safety. The whole canyoning experience was really great. After, we had a really delicious home made lunch before they drove us back. I would highly recommend!

Our guides were friendly and entertaining. We felt totally safe and at ease the entire time. The kids had a blast. Also the lunch was amazing.
