It is undoubtedly one of the most famous natural attractions in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Only suitable for adventurers who want to live an exciting excursion and only half an hour from the city of Puerto Plata. Waterfalls are created by the river along its course from the highlands on the outskirts of Puerto Plata to the plains. Along the route it creates natural pools with crystal clear waters in which you can jump, slide down or use the stairs and enjoy a refreshing bath. All this surrounded by incredible and lush forests.

The meeting point will be outside the port, you have to walk 7 to 9 minutes to the highway then when you are there, walk two more minutes to the left.

The tour guide will be waiting for you with a sign from our company R.V. Tours with the name (Waterfalls) below.

It will be very easy to meet.

According to our experience with other cruise clients, we will be meeting between 30 to 40 minutes after the cruise has arrived.

It is recommended that you leave the cruise as soon as possible since other people will be waiting on the bus, also to get to the waterfalls before the big groups.

Once the adventure is over and we have had lunch, we will return to the port with plenty of time before the cruise departs.

I normally don’t go out of my way to write a review but Rene was amazing. Literally went out of his way time and time again to make sure we had an amazing private tour all over the island. Words can’t even explain how experienced and professional he was. Honestly made the whole trip to the DR worth every penny . I still don’t think I tipped him enough money . Can’t wait to go back and believe me Rene is the first person I’m calling. Thank you Rene for such an awesome adventure and Staci and I can’t wait to see you again ????

Renee was super responsive and even picked us up at a different Cruise Terminal when our ship made a last minute port change. I can’t say enough about our day with RV Tours, he even made my teenage daughter smile, which is a miracle in itself.

Unfortunately our port stop in Puerto Plata was cancelled by the cruise line due to weather, but this company provided amazing customer service and refunded 100% of our payment for the cancelled excursion the same day. His communication and responsiveness during the booking process was also excellent. I definitely hope to use his services in the future!
