You will ride along a gravel path through the jungle to the beach and then along the beach with the waves touching the horses’ feet. After a photo session stop with the turquoise ocean in the back ground the ride goes on to a bar in Bergantin beach for a break and possibility to buy souvenirs (or other drinks than included in the tour). If the ocean and streams are applicable you will be offered to swim with a horse which is a great experience. Keep in mind, although, that sometimes this is not possible due to strong waves and streams. We always keep Safety First!

We pick up from the resorts Cofresi, Costambar, Puerto plata and Playa Dorada but due to the time and distance we cannot pick up or drop-off clients from cruise ships and clients from Sosua and Cabarete .

We are not able to pick up clients from cruise ships,Cabarete or Sosua: these clients have to organize transport by them selves ( taxi ) to our meeting point. That point is located by the main road at the entrance of Bergantine beach marked with a sign that says: MEETING POINT BEACH RIDE. Stay by that point for horsebackriding on the beach. If you are going for the mountain ride, that will start from our ranch in Munoz. The way to the ranch is marked with signs that says: Rancho Salvaje Lorilar and is followed by an arrow to point out the direction, these signs starts on the opposite side of the main road from the meeting point. We ask all cruise ship clients to call Sylvie BEFORE leaving the port for further instructions to the taxi driver.

This was an amazing experience. It was my first time. Of course I was nervous. The guides were amazing!!!!!!! Shout out to Angel. He was so informative and patient. He showed me how to and what to do with my horse Mauricio ????. We rode into and through the jungle and onto the beach and saw the sunset. I will never forget this experience. Would love to do this again one day. Rancho Larimar thank you!!! Gracias :)

Belle activité. Nous étions un gros groupe d’environ 30 personnes. Il y avaient assez de guide pour tous nous prendre en charge. Le paysage est magnifique. Nous avons eu un temps pour prendre des photos. Ils servent des boissons gazeuses inclus pendant la pause pour les chevaux. Je recommande!

Great tour! We rode the horses for about 2 hours through the trail, then on the beach. We stopped off for about 20 minutes so the horses could rest and drink water before we returned. The tour guide was great and the horses Mancha and Elvis were great as well!
