Overall we enjoyed the tour itself but the boat was an issue. We thought this was their larger boat (turns out the same company has more than one kind of tour) and it was a very uncomfortable ride for a group of people 55-70 years old. The speedboat was hitting the water hard so it wasn't very pleasant, and the driver was racing other boats so probably going faster than needed. Getting in and out of the boat was a bit tricky, especially as they use a temporary ladder at one point, and one of our group fell backwards when it tipped. There was nothing in the description here about it being a speedboat, but after contacting the company they have updated the information quickly, which was good. To be fair, when we asked they did give us the option to return on the larger boat for an additional fee but we declined as they said it would be easier going in the return direction. It wasn't much better. At one point the driver seemed to be playing chicken with another as it got too close! Also they did not provide bottled water, only water from a cooler. No bathroom until you reach the Mano Juan village (and that was pretty basic, as it is a small place). On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the locations we visited were very nice. It was our mistake about the tour we chose but we didn't have all the information, which was a shame as the larger boat would have been much better for us.
