We had lived there in the mid 1970’s so it was a trip down memory lane. Weather was perfect, sunny. We arrived by ferry and it was punctual and provided an upper deck to see a 360 of the Firth of Clyde. We ate fish and chips for lunch at the Lorne Restaurant, strolled the beach promenade, and enjoyed seeing all the old stone houses. Also, walked up Argyle St., Dunoon’s main st.
