Enjoy your day tasting wine & famous port wine through the region. You have to come where the Port Wine is born and made! From the soil to the vine, the shale terraces to the solar exposition, grafting the vines to grape variety, "lagar" to the barrel, from the bottles to the table, from the taste in your tongue to your brain and to your soul. In Douro Valley you will visit amazing wine villages frozen in time where the port wine culture is dominant in the streets, in the houses, in the landscape and on the people, they will teach you the the difference from a Tawny to a Ruby, dry White port to a sweet White port, Late Bottle Vintage to a Vintage and also the famous Single Harvest port wines, do you think you can handle it !!! You will confer with Wine and Port Wine producers and they will share their knowledge with you through a glass of port wine, from this moment on, you will see wine from a different point of view, after a private taste of 15 Douro Valley Wines.

The wine tasting or drinking is around 18 Douro Valley Wines, good for a morning starter. - We will go to the most amazing view point to Douro Valley - Lunch in a local Tavern only local food, wine or beer - I´m driving back home :)

Don’t hesitate-book the tour! Ricardo was an exceptional tour guide and our day was the highlight of our trip. He thought of everything-offered breakfast and coffee, delivered wine to our room, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day learning about the Douro Valley. Lunch was delicious and the wine selection was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Amazing tour!! Ricardo was so chill, so much fun, and so informative. Don’t hesitate to book a tour to this beautiful region. Wear walking shoes and bring the sunscreen. He catered to our every needs in our diverse group of 5!

Our day with Ricardo was truly unforgettable – one of the highlights of our entire trip to Portugal! Ricardo is not just a guide; he's a passionate storyteller who brought the history of the Douro Valley alive for us with incredible detail and enthusiasm. His knowledge of the area is outstanding, and he made every stop along the way meaningful and memorable. Ricardo took us to a charming local spot for a short break where we got a taste of the Douro’s unique flavors and local traditions. But the best part was lunch at his friend’s home – a warm and welcoming setting where we enjoyed an incredible meal paired with exceptional wines from the region. This was such a special, authentic experience, something we would have never found on our own. I came with my husband and two friends, and we all agreed this was one of the best days we had in Portugal. If you're in the Douro Valley, don’t miss out on a day with Ricardo! Highly, highly recommend – it’s an experience we’ll always cherish.
