Al was great. Our group of 8 had a great time. This tour is great for those who want to taste and see real Puerto Vallarta.

We truly enjoyed The food tour with our guide Al! He shared the history of Puerto Vallarta, and some facts we hadn't heard of. Truly special. We loved all the locally owned places that were authentic with delicious food! It was so fun to try things we've never had before as well. I highly recommend the tour and make sure you come hungry, because the food is delicious!!

This tour was a unanimous favorite during our visit to PV for all 11 people! Johanna guided us leisurely through the streets and gave us incredible history on the area and culture! We had two members with walking issues, but it was no problem for them as kept a slow pace and stops were very close together. We got to see multiple parts of the town - not just a limited few food joints. Johanna went out of her way to find additional mini stops and to use our time the way we wanted it to be spent. We got such a variety of entrees, proteins, coffee, candy, chocolate, & alcohol. As expected, the food was amazing! One member had a food allergy and Johanna ensured communication with every vendor and warned the visitor exactly what was in each dish to avoid. Several times the allergy patron received a different option so as not to be left out of that spot’s tasting, which was unexpected and so kind! Being from America we had a few people concerned about food safety from hearing horror stories of GI distress after eating on the streets of Mexico, but everything was assured to be safe for our untrained American guts, and we had no reports of GI distress. We HIGHLY recommend this tour and plan to do other tours on future visits!
