Die Porzellanmanufaktur mit Schauhalle und Museum ist immer wieder sehenswert. Aber auch virtuell und mit professioneller Beratung durch eine (ehemalige) Porzellanmalerin ist "Meissner" immer wieder eine Augenweide. Aquatinta, indisch, Koralle-Goldrand, Weinlaub und Zwiebelmuster - ich stehe auf die klassischen Dekors. Besonders gelungen finde/fand ich die Tierchen aus Meissner Porzellan mit Streublümchen als Kettenanhänger. Allerliebst und ein stilvolles Geschenk für junge Damen. Und das sind wir doch im Herzen alle... Liebe Grüße nach Meissen

Der Eintritt in die „Meißener Porzellan-Manufaktur“ umfasste eine Vorführung zur Herstellung und dem Bemalen von Porzellan. Es war abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Sogar Kinder hatten Spaß an der Darbietung zur schrittweisen Herstellung des bekannten Porzellans. Des Weiteren konnten verschiedene Sammlungen des Meißener Porzellans begutachtet werden. Auch die Geschichte von den Anfängen bis in die heutige Zeit wurde nachvollziehbar erklärt. Neben Lesetafeln konnte dazu ein Film angeschaut werden..

Ich war vor einigen Jahren an einer Führung durch die Porzellan-Manufaktur. Diese war damals eindeutig interessanter. Mehr Infos und nicht einfach ein Durchschleusen an den einzelnen Stationen. Insgesamt hat diese "Führung" eine halbe Stunde gedauert.
