Dennis from Venice was an excellent guide and knew the city well. The bites and drinks were plentiful and very specific to the area.

I highly recommend starting with a local if you are a new visitor to Venice. Rocco was full of information that made our trip so much better. We went to some great wine bars and saw areas of the city we would not have likely found ourselves. He was funny and we enjoyed him and our time.

Claudia was an excellent guide. I'd highly recommend this experience with her. Venice was quite crowded at the time of our visit, so she took us on streets that were less crowded. We explored the Canneregio and Jewish Ghetto neighborhoods, learned many interesting bits of Venecian history and culture, and enjoyed delicious food and drinks. We were a group of two, one of us vegetarian and one us pescetarian. The restaurants/bars Claudia took us to easily accomodated us. This was a relaxing, interesting, fun evening with a local guide who helped us get a great feel for Venice.
