Best day ever!!! Abgeholt wurden wir von Falkner Dylan. Wir machten einen Abstecher zur Kamelrennbahn mit ein paar Infos zum Rennsport. Im Anschluss fuhren wir durchs Wüstenreservat, wo wir viel erfuhren über Flora und Fauna der Wüste. Inmitten der Wüste erwartete uns Raheem, ein zweiter Mitarbeiter von Royal Shaheen, mit Kaffee und Datteln. Das erste Highlight war Penny, die wunderschöne Eule, die wir selbst auf der Hand landen lassen durften. Wir lernten: Eulen sind nicht so schlau, wie man sagt, lassen sich gern kraulen und schlafen mit vollem Bauch sofort ein. Der nächste Vogel war Cassian, eine Art Habicht, der seine besondere Agilität und Wendigkeit zeigte. Mit den beiden Falken Ghost und Thunder zeigte Dylan eine Trainingseinheit mit Federspiel bzw. mit eigens entwickelter Drone. Die Vogel sind wunderschön und wirken sehr ruhig. Dylan und seine Kollegen lieben ihre Arbeit mit diesen tollen Tieren und zeigen das. Wer diese Tour nicht macht, verpasst was Großartiges!!!

Excellent staff and amazing birds, really interesting show and expeience. Talk gave history of falconry and the falconers were very knowledgable.
