Where do I begin?
We parked the car in the carpark (free parking) and was a little confused about where to go. We asked a cleaner about scuba diving and pointed us to a bright neon green coloured van (keep this in mind).
I would highly recommend wearing your swimwear under your outfit as the toilets are a 10min walk from the area you'll be scuba diving. We changed into our scuba outfits & equipment in the carpark (which I guess isn't too bad) and started the excursion.
Roman was our guide who was extremely thorough which was great. This was my first time doing scuba diving & my husbands second. To be honest, I cannot swim & have a fear of water (god knows why!) but I though I would push myself to try and get over my fear.
With the advice Roman gave, we both started practicing scuba diving, Roman made sure we were ok at all times and took great snaps whilst we practiced. As we went deeper, I started feeling a little panicky and started getting cramps in my foot & calfs so decided I wanted to stop. I really didn't want to waste time and told my husband & Roman to continue without me. Roman made sure I got to land safely, and carried on the experience with my husband.
My husband enjoyed seeing the corals, fish & also feeding the fish. Roman took some great snaps & videos. All in all, it was great & I would recommend it to all. Even if you can't swim like me - give it a go!
There are showers nearby which is helpful. We were also given a cup of chai which was yummy! The team (sorry cannot remember names) were all very welcoming and bubbly.
